Scatter the Mud have, to date, released two critically acclaimed CDs: In the Md (1994), and Never Time to Play (1997). Preparations are now underway for a third CD to be released in the late spring of 1999. Fans looking forward to Scatter the Muds rare blend of driving reels, playful jigs and lilting songs will not be disappointed. Took the audience by surprise at the main stage Vancouver Celtic Festival.

Proved to be crowd favourites at the North Country Fair.

Very successful headliner at the Islands Folk Festival on Vancouver Island.

Main stage headliner at the Canada Day celebrations on Princes Island Park in Calgary.

Main stage appearance at the Festival in the Field, Summerside, PEI in support of The Rankins as well as a strong, diversified performance backing up Great Big Sea at the College of Pipings concert series, also in Summerside.

Two appearances in Tom Jacksons Food Bank benefit series, The Huron Carol.

Had everyone literally scattering the mud at a soggy, but celebratory South Country Fair.

A capacity crowd was on their feet at the West End Cultural Centre in Winnipeg.
